The tour starts in Ortisei with a long climb up to Alpe di Siusi and Compaccio. From there the route continues across the plateau towards the Molignon Hut, with increasingly impressive views of the Catinaccio and Sassopiatto. The Molignon area is the highest and most scenic point of the tour.
After a short break, a long and enjoyable descent leads across the plateau and along the valley slopes back to Ortisei.
